Happy New Year everyone!  Last year was a very successful year for us and I am grateful for the support!

One of the foundations of ClearView Water is transparency – a unique approach today; especially for a privately held Company.  I hope you continue to find this of value and that it gives you further insight into who we are and where we are going.

2010 High Points – Launch and Adjust

  • Milestone – We hit our 1 Year Anniversary!
  • Growth – The business grew new installations over 1200% relative to 2009.  We missed the Budget, but you know what?  I’m putting the year into the Win column with those numbers.
  • Focus and FlexibilityThe Budget in 2010 was to be 90% Residential and 10% Commercial because that’s what my market research told me.  We ended the year at 75% Commercial and 25% Residential.  Nothing says “launch and adjust” better than that type of swing!
  • Product Expansion – We increased our product/service line in June with the ION Drinking Water System. This was the driver to our huge increases over the back half of the year.
  • Going Wide – If there was an event, seminar or lunch that had even a glimmer of hope to meet an influential person or someone in our demographic in 2010, I was there.  I’ve developed some great power partners and customers out of that effort.  Plus – I had fun.  That worked too.

Wow – that was a really cool year and it was fun to play back the memory reel for a moment.  What I’m really excited about is our next chapter.

2011 Destinations – Rinse and Repeat

  • MilestoneWe will hit our 2 Year Anniversary in August!
  • Sustained Growth – We are the preferred choice for people that want an alternative to bottled water and delivery services.  We will continue to maintain the customer base we’ve built since 2009.  We will continue to ignore the headlines and grow our new installations by another 360% in 2011.
  • More Focus and Flexibility – Complete focus on the drivers of this business, but always be listening for that new sales channel.  Opportunity sometimes knocks very softly – it is good to keep an open ear.
  • Consistent Messaging – Look for 4 Series across the year – Education, The Clear Choice, Product and Miscellaneous.  Your feedback really helped zero in what we need to be talking about in 2011.  Please keep it coming!  You’ll also see changes to the website to better reflect our customer base.
  • Product Replacement Keep an eye out for this one in Q1.
  • Going DeepWe are so fortunate to have a growing base of customers and power partners.  We are taking 2011 as an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and earn market share through our mutual connections.
